Advocating 4 Kids, Inc is proud to receive the 2022 Advancing Equity Round II Awardee, a Hamptons Roads Community Foundation grant.

These funds will be used to cover the cost of the Advocating While Black Training Program.

We are proud organizational member of Dignity in Schools Campaign and enjoy our role as a member of the national federal group.

On January 19, 2023, our Executive Director met with the Department of Education Office for Civil Rights and the Department of Justice to discuss the not-yet-released federal guidance on racial discrimination in school discipline. She presented specific information about Virginia Public Schools' racial discrimination practices not only in discipline but in how Virginia lawmaker continues to draft bills that will continue to target our students.
